This is a case I have followed and supported for many many years.

Wishing good luck and justice for Eddie.

On 4th June 1992 Paula Gilfoyle, eight and a half months pregnant, was found hanging in the garage of her home in Upton, Wirral. In July 1993, at Liverpool Crown Court, her husband Eddie was convicted of her murder but maintains that he is innocent.

His family and supporters have gathered compelling evidence - never seen by the trial jury - that Paula was not killed but committed suicide. Despite this new evidence, Eddies appeals against his conviction have been rejected by the Court of Appeal and Eddie remains in prison.

The original investigation by the Merseyside Police and which led to Eddies conviction was seriously flawed. Crucial evidence was either lost, ignored or not properly investigated. Eddie Gilfoyle has suffered doubly - losing first his wife and unborn child and then his freedom.
